Training puppies

#FUTURE

When the little ones are born, are the first 15 days the most dangerous? The mother can of course crush one, which is why our farrowing crate is equipped with anti-choking bars. Of course, this is not intentional, simply because she is surrounded by many babies, one moment she has to lie down and sometimes one of them is in the wrong place!

Then, these are the first days which allow young puppies to drink their mother's colostrum, and it is this famous liquid which will immunize them against most diseases. Hence the importance of observing the little ones carefully and weighing them to be sure that they are all drinking correctly.
Which explains why the first week of babies' lives is generally a succession of very short nights, every two hours we take turns checking the babies, and this has allowed us to save more than one...

Raising a puppy means preparing for its future. When a puppy leaves the breeder, it must be ready to live with its family. That's why we say: "One family, one puppy, one departure date."
Every family has different needs. A person who has other dogs and is used to training a puppy will appreciate being able to adopt their puppy from the eighth week so that they can “make it their own”. Conversely, a family without a dog and who has never had one will appreciate that the puppy is “started” and will adopt their puppy at 12 weeks of age. This is why, although the law allows us to sell puppies at 8 weeks, we keep them until 10 weeks. Of course, for puppies going abroad, the issue is more delicate and each case is different.
In our house, puppies are truly part of the house. They are born in the dining room where they stay for 3 weeks, then move into their personal space. But even if they have the right to the radio, we regularly take them with us into the house. Often in groups of 3 or 4, they can discover the house and also already learn the noises and smells of a home with humans.

We take particular care in the socialization of our puppies: outings in town, in the forest, meeting children, discovering the grooming salon, visiting the behaviorist, etc. This is to best prepare them for their future. family life. There is nothing worse than a puppy raised in a cage or small environment without contact with humans. And this is also true for the opposite situation, puppies raised in a crowded space will necessarily be more nervous and aggressive than average!

For each litter, Océane, dog trainer, comes to visit us. During her first visit, she does a quick assessment of each puppy and helps us find the right puppy that matches the right family. If “each pot has its lid”, then “each barbet has its family”.

The particular case of puppies going for export:

For export, the puppies leave home at 13 weeks, after the rabies vaccination, and live in the family of a dog behaviorist in order to learn the basics of education: walking on a leash, cleanliness, living in a dog. family with children and other animals, discovery of transport and public places, or any other request from you. This way, the puppy does not fall behind in his education!

We of course visit them, to ensure their well-being and progress. In addition, the WhatsApp group will allow you to follow step by step, photos and videos supporting your puppy's life.

This represents a cost of 750 euros for 21 days of work.

After this period, the puppy returns to the breeder where we will give it to you with the papers, passport and invoice. The final price of the puppy will therefore be 2200 750=2950 euros.

Finally, and this is very appreciable, future “parents” can follow the pregnancy of the female, then the progress of the puppies on a Whatsapp group. And the group doesn't stop when the puppies leave, on the contrary, it continues to live, and families can continue to share their dog's adventures for years to come.
Our greatest reward: them and you!
